Things I bought, things I want
I’m trying not to show you too many spring pieces yet—it’s not even March, after all—but then I see something like this amazing eyelet shirt that I know will sell out soon, and it’s clear I have no choice but to share.
I can’t stop thinking about these sneakers—the color combination is just so good, and I think they’re pretty understatedly cool, if yellow sneakers can be said to be understated.
These spiff sunglasses are part of a collab between Linda Farrow and Cos, and are much cheaper (while still not being exactly cheap) than Farrow’s original (and pretty fabulous) line.
A sweet little skirt—definitely check out the back view if you’re interested because it’s slightly flouncy, but in a way I decided I like.
A remarkably clean-lined and versatile knit jacket.
I am deeply coveting this striped jacket, in lightweight stretch denim. I feel like I’d wear it constantly once it warms up a bit.
A chic and sexy leather skirt that’s pretty well-priced, as these things go.
I realize I’ve never shown you these Rachel Comey boots that I have been wearing nonstop this winter (at least, that is, when I’m not wearing my favorite snow boots). They’re pleasingly clunky, and have serious treads, so you won’t slip on the ice.
I have never liked baseball caps as fashion—I don’t have any good reason for this; they just always struck me as uncool and kind of mid. But they’re everywhere these days, and I surprise myself by seeing ones I’m tempted by, like this fun embroidered number by Loeffler Randall.
Negative Underwear—makers of my new favorite bra—sent me this washable silk pajama top and matching lounge pants, and they are so luxe and fabulous that when I wear them I feel like I’m in a 40s screwball comedy.
