Going green
The shades of green I’m especially liking right now are the same as the green on the trees budding on my block: bright and cheery really optimistic. Also, you might guess that it’s a tough shade to wear, but I’d respectfully submit that you’re wrong: it looks great with khaki, brown, black, and blue, for starters. This cardigan has cool crochet details, and would look great with jeans and a button-down.
The brand Sea New York makes some fantastic embroidered pieces, like this delightfully jazzy dress.
A denim shirt dress from Frank & Eileen that I know I’d wear on repeat.
This very spiff, lightweight cotton button-down has a nice amount of stretch.
A substantial Italian cotton sweater with an appealingly oversized fit.
I do like this breezy piece, which could be employed as a dress or a beach cover-up.
And I dig the shawl collar on this double-breasted linen-blend cardi from Alex Mill.
You’ve seen this Clare V bag before; it’s the one I’ve been carrying every day for a while now. What I love most about it is even if I’m dressed as usual in mostly black, it automatically adds a pop of color to my outfit.
Just a relentlessly perky linen blazer.
I like the fun basket-inspired shape of this tote from Cuyana.
I am about as resolutely anti-logo as it gets, but the cute little alligator on this Lacoste sweatshirt is such a classic that it’s tough to resist.
OK, there’s maybe more blue here than green, but this dress is a stunner in any case.
