Things I bought, things I want
This embroidered dress from Ba&sh is on the splurgier side, but I think it’s worth it because 1. You can wear it in any season and look great, and 2. It’s insanely easy and comfortable. It even has tiers, which usually I don’t dig, but I don’t mind them here for some reason.
If you haven’t already noticed, I’m kind of obsessed with track pants at the moment, and I like the slimmer cut on these.
This pintuck lace-trim top also comes in black and also white, but this pale pink has a nicely antique-y vibe.
I love my new washable silk pajama set from Lunya, and I think I’ll definitely be bringing it to Europe this summer, because you could wear the (really cute!) top out in the world too.
A crisp cotton henley with the just-right amount of ruffles, from a brand I like called Birds of Paradis; here’s another one they make that I’m also quite partial to.
Just a really great linen caftan dress, in an unstoppably good blue.
This suede espadrille looks sturdier than most espadrilles, and has a certain wear-it-now-wear-it-later appeal.
I like the elastic ankle detail on these high-rise leggings.
A cotton linen short-sleeve sweater from Alex Mill that comes in several other good shades: the ideal layer for right now.
A cool tee dress with chocolate brown stripes—delightfully unexpected.
I love the idea of this salmon pink blazer: what an effortless way to make a color statement. I also quite like these matching pants.
And finally, when looking for bargains, I often follow Jenn Romolini’s advice and head to the H&M site, where I’ll set the filter so it only shows me cotton options. That’s how I found this amazing eyelet embroidered dress, which can be yours for under $70.
