Things I bought, things I want
At first glance, I wasn’t certain what to make of this linen and cotton summer-weight blazer in chocolate brown, which isn’t exactly the summeriest shade. But look how fantastic it comes off with all white here. I also like the way it’d pair with light pinks and blues.
And speaking of light pinks, I think this denim western shirt is just insanely cute. I don’t even look good in this shade and I’m thinking of getting it anyway it’s so cute.
A pretty, sweet eyelet dress that I also like in the black.
These slinky silk pants are exactly what I’ve been searching for, and they come in a number of good, mostly neutral-ish shades.
I always like florals against a black background best—I just think it’s more sophisticated—and the print on this dress is really winning. I also dig the easy, flattering silhouette.
In a season of cute fisherman sandals, these might just be the cutest.
These Bose earbuds are a collab between the brand and Lisa of Blackpink (aka Mook from The White Lotus) and I think they’re quite adorable. I’ve also got my eye on these headphones in a really good blue, just for fun, and this tiny but mighty bluetooth speaker.
A good gingham shirt is a nice shortcut to looking put-together, and I like this boyfriend-cut one from Ann Mashburn.
This linen drawstring shirt dress from Universal Standard looks so flowy and effortless.
The shape of this chic khaki jacket is slightly swingy, which makes it come off a touch more feminine.
Usually, I buy a new pair of lightweight chinos from J. Crew about this time of year, and by the end of summer they’re trashed. This year, the Crew has failed to oblige me with options of that kind. But no matter! I found this stretch cotton pair at Quince, and I’m going for it.
