It’s sunglass season

I feel like I say this every year, but I really just can’t with most current sunglass trends. Everything either looks like this, or this—shapes that neither flatter, nor especially intrigue. Pickings are slim if you’re looking for anything that isn’t an awkward or aggressively ugly shape, but I did manage to find some pairs I like, starting with his one from J. Crew. It comes in a few other shades, but I like this versatile-but-unexpected green.

A nicely oversize pair; I dig the purplish lenses.

You can never go too far wrong with Ray Ban’s Clubmaster. I will always think it is endlessly cool.

I dig this slightly softer take on the timeless aviator shape.

A classic shape that flatters most everyone.

Here is one trend I do sort of like: square-ish frames.
