Kitten heels are the answer
Kitten heels used to strike me as impossibly prissy and not at all my thing. But that was before I stopped being able to wear higher heels without crushing pain. Now I think they’re just great—both walkable and chic. I especially like this pair, with studded details, from Reformation.

Snakeskin works really well as a neutral, and these are just cute as can be.
I do like a pointy toe; I think they’re polished looking, and give the appearance of the shoe having a higher heel. These, from Madewell, are so poppy in red.
This braided leather pair deeply appeals, and I’m not typically drawn to white footwear.
These are just a smidge higher than a kitten heel, but they’re so elegant that I’m allowing it.
