The beauty lineup

I always dismissed the brand Flamingo Estate as pricey, trendy millennial nonsense, but then they sent me this delicious-smelling rosemary and clary sage body wash—as well as this truly amazing rosemary candle—and now I’m all in.

My new favorite skincare brand Hanni is having a sale, and the more you spend the more you save (with the code HBDHANNI). I’ll be stocking up on their fantastically effective in-shower moisturizer, Splash Salve, and will be picking one up in the cute travel size too. I also quite like their The Fatty moisture stick, which smooths rough skin on elbows and etc like nobody’s business. Also, this bundle of their bestselling products seems like a particularly good deal at the moment.

Rare Beauty’s cream to powder blush is super-easy to apply, which is important when you’re as bad at putting on makeup as me. I’m also really liking this gel, which helps set your brows, and keep them set. Additionally, I’m very intrigued by this under-eye brightener, and I might also go for one more of this tinted lip oil, which also has some pretty legit staying power.

With summer on the way, I’ve got waterproof mascara on my mind; this one is quite highly rated, so I’m going to give it a shot and will report back.

I don’t have a big skincare regimen, for better or worse, but I do apply this face oil with vitamin C and squalane religiously every morning. Most vitamin C formulations are too tough on my sensitive skin, but this is pretty gentle.

After that, I apply some Vintner’s Daughter serum, which the company sent me a while back. I regret to report that it is both very pricey, and makes my skin glow like nothing else.

The founder of Saie Beauty worked as an assistant at Lucky, and recently sent me a hulking care package in thanks for me hiring her for her first magazine job. And there was plenty to love in this package, starting with this smooth tinted moisturizer, perfect for those hot summer days when there’s no way you’re putting on foundation.

And finally, I’m pleased to see that Kosas has introduced a travel size of their tinted SPF, Dream Beam, to which I am deeply devoted.
