Things I bought, things I want
A pretty perfect, lightweight cotton balloon sleeve blouse that rings in at just under $25.
I am such a fan of the punchy pink and red combination on this fun and summery dress.
The brand Varley sent me this knit top and I am such a fan: it has the ease of a classic polo shirt, but is leagues chicer.
I also really dig this cool knit vest, also from Varley.
This body wash has notes of sandalwood and cedar, and very much smells like wood. Which doesn’t sound especially appealing in a body wash, except for some reason I can’t get enough of it.
I’m a newfound fan of the button-down shirt at Buck Mason, which comes in several good colorways, and has a nice, boyfriend-ish silhouette.
A cute lace maxi skirt that looks like it could be from Doen, but is actually Gap.
The scent I wear is Portrait of a Lady, but because fumes give me a headache, I wear the body and hair oil instead of straight perfume. Which works out fine, except when I’m traveling. So I’m thrilled they’ve introduced this really nice, quick-absorbing hand cream.
This denim smocked bag is one of the coolest totes I’ve seen in quite some time, and it comes with a crossbody strap too, making it ideal for travel.
I love, love, love my elegant new steak knife set from Material. I’ve had the same old crappy steak knives for decades, and these are such a nice upgrade. Use the code KIMMATERIAL for a 20% discount.
A washable stretch silk dress that would be so good for summer travel.
This ruffle neck shirt has the exactly-right amount of ruffles, and not an inch more. Also, I really dig the blue.
And finally, it’s just about white tee season, so I did what I always do and visited Nordstrom Rack to pick up some of these James Perse tees, which have such a nice, deep neckline, and go for a fraction of what they would elsewhere. They also come in a number of other shades, just fyi.
