Things I bought, things I want

I can not wait until it is warm enough to wear my awesome new dress from ba&sh; it hangs really nicely, and the bright and graphic floral print is such a winner.

I’ve still got track pants on my mind, and this pair is actually made of lightweight poplin, with just a touch of stretch. It comes in several other good shades as well.

The Spanish brand Mercules is new to me, but I’m now a fan of their very cute bags, like this one, which is appealingly shaped like a Tootsie Roll and fits more than it looks like it would.

A brand called Haven Well Within sent me this spiff linen summer robe, and it’s really kind of perfect.

Additionally, I’m intrigued by this crisp white top, also from the above-mentioned brand.

When somebody manages to make a basic piece really standout, it’s always cause for celebration. I am wearing this cotton/cashmere sweater even as I type: it’s so soft and well-proportioned, and deeply comfortable.

I like the look of tube skirts, but not when they’re too tight, and cling in all the wrong places. This one is somehow less constricting—it also has that side slit—and more flattering.

An easy summer dress for the beach or the street.

These elegant tan sandals are a pretty good dupe of these way pricier ones from Hermes.

And finally, a perfectly adorable embroidered striped top for the hottest summer days.
