things-i-bought,-things-i-want

Things I bought, things I want

This cute knit top comes in a variety of appealing shades, but I’m particularly fond of this pink.

I have actually owned this boxy washable silk shirt for a couple of years, but I’m wearing it today, and am therefore reminded of how great it is: the shape is slouchy, flattering perfection, and it’s lightweight and breezy enough to wear on even the hottest days. It comes in some more summery shades too, if that’s your thing.

Quite a number of the pieces in today’s post are on sale, starting with this spiff striped cardi from Rag & Bone. I dig the gold buttons here, as I always do.

I like the slightly washed-out look of the stripes on this well-priced linen button-down.

I found this ba&sh dress marked nicely down at the big sale that Saks is throwing right now. It’s feminine without being prissy—even with those puffy shoulders, which I don’t usually go for.

A gorgeous washed silk cami for wearing under whatever.

I’m a big fan of the brand Sea NY, where I found this amazing caftan, which I am currently coveting a lot. They too are having a sale, and I quite liked this pretty dress, as well as this one.

Because I wear so little color, I like a bright belt sometimes to help my outfit pop. So I’ve got my eye on this Me & Em elasticated belt; it also comes in this nice, subtler option.

These lightweight wedges provide a nice touch of height without pain. They come in other shades too, just fyi.

I was gifted this Four Objects chambray shirt, and it is the softest ever, and I’ve been wearing it nonstop. Pro tip: it runs large.

I don’t know why, but I’ve been attracted to bright orange bags lately, and so I’m really digging this recycled canvas tote from Longchamp.

And finally, a really elegant pinstripe dress.

Like most newsletters of this kind, I use affiliate links when I can, which means that if you make a purchase, I earn a little cash. Please do know, though, that nothing *ever* appears here that I wouldn’t want to wear, use, or own myself.
